Position Title: Manager of Change/Release Management
Department: Change Management and Compliance
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Reports To: SVP, Technology Operations & Quality Assurance

Position Overview:

In this position you will lead our change management and release process by communicating, streamlining, and enforcing the procedures connected to change management and compliance.  Candidate will drive both internal and external audits, while working with employees across every internal team; thus, you will be the key communicator between our clients and vendors.  Additionally, you will be responsible for the Change Management and Compliance team who will support the changes of the organization as you lead the process.  Your team will measure the effectiveness and identify potential risks associated with the processes.  This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging across multiple projects that include: compliance changes, planning, and building processes with a focus on maximizing the organizations resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Change Management and Compliance team.
  • Manage the release process for all products
    • Organize/Lead meetings
    • Identify risks and issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality
    • Communicate release details and schedules to non-technical teams and clients
  • Change management process
    • Review/follow up on change requests
    • Identify potential risks and conflicts
    • Ensure all necessary checks are carried out
  • SOC2 audit process
    • Track outstanding evidence requests
    • Follow up with control owners and auditors
    • Edit/Write documentation related to the audit
    • Identify/report exceptions found to the security team
  • Work Change Request Process
    • Assist with managing the Work Change Request Process
      • Follow up on outstanding estimates
      • Calculate pricing/High level estimates based on each team’s estimate
      • Enforce the Work Change Request ProcessAssist with managing the Work Change Request Process
    • Lead the Project Prioritization Committee meeting as needed

  • Excellent communication skills, specifically dealing with staff at all levels and other parts of the company
  • Exceptional organization skills with an eye for detail
  • The ability to influence decision across all levels of management
  • Excellent documentation skills with experience creating support documentation for users
  • Motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Manage multiple work streams and priorities to ensure smooth delivery through hands-on effort
  • Proven ability to show resiliency and be able to prioritize key activities with the business while managing stakeholder expectations
  • Excellent approach to planning work, managing priorities and using own initiative to overcome issues
  • Can cope in a complex and fast-changing environment, and to respond calmly and rationally
  • Experience with Change Management, Release Management and/or Technical Audit

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, and/or 3-5 years of relevant change management experience
