Industry veteran named top CFO in the category of private company with revenues up to $50 million
JERSEY CITY, N.J., — Oct. 30, 2013 — Scivantage®, an independent financial technology provider with proven expertise in online brokerage, tax and portfolio reporting and wealth management applications, announced today that James Kaminski, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, was named CFO of the Year by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s weekly business journal.
Mr. Kaminski received the honor in the category of “Private Company with revenues of up to $50 million,” in which he was one of eight finalists, at the NJBIZ Awards Ceremony, held Oct. 29 at The Palace at Somerset Park, Somerset, N.J.

Mr. Kaminski, who has more than 25 years of industry experience in the financial services sector, and has a proven track record of achieving corporate objectives and streamlining business operations, is responsible for the overall leadership and management of Scivantage’s financial operations, including corporate finance, investor relations, mergers & acquisitions and human resources. Prior to joining Scivantage, Mr. Kaminski was a Group Controller at American International Group, Inc. (AIG), where he was responsible for analyzing and structuring finances of technology projects for their global infrastructure. Prior to AIG, Mr. Kaminski held senior level finance positions, such as First Vice President and CFO of Technology for Prudential Securities and Vice President and CFO of Corporate Technology Services for Prudential Insurance.
Mr. Kaminski holds a bachelors degree from the University of Tampa and a MBA from the University of Miami.
