Executive honored among New York area award winners for innovation and leadership
JERSEY CITY, NJ — April 7, 2014 — Scivantage®, a Global FinTech 100 technology provider of information-enabled software dedicated to transforming complex information and processes into intuitive user experiences for the financial services industry, announced today that Andrew Haines, Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the firm, has been named a leading CIO by SmartCEO Magazine in its 2014 Executive Management Awards (EMA) as a result of his creative management vision, leadership philosophy and work ethic.
“The level of talent in the New York area is extraordinary and to be recognized as a leader amongst this group is an honor,” said Haines. “At Scivantage, we worked very hard to develop a dynamic work environment that challenges our employees to continuously innovate and solve real-life problems for our clients. This is a key element to our firm’s success.”
Selected by an independent committee, EMA recognizes the leadership and accomplishments of New York’s management all-stars — the CFOs, CIOs/CTOs, COOs and other C-suite executives leading the region’s business community. The 2014 EMA winners collectively generate more than $6 billion in annual revenue and employ over 14,000 individuals in Greater New York. More than 300 local C-level guests will celebrate this elite group of executives at the awards reception on April 30, 2014, in New York.
“Andrew has been an integral member of our management team since joining in 2012 and he has been invaluable in reshaping our technology strategy that will drive the next stages of our growth,” said Adnane Charchour, President and CEO of Scivantage. “We congratulate Andrew on this acknowledgement for his contributions to Scivantage’s success over the past few years. During this time, we have evolved from delivering technology that supported greater automation to a leader in information-enabled software that helps financial institutions achieve critical business insights, generate new revenue and build stronger customer relationships.”
“All too often, senior leaders in an organization become unsung heroes,” said Jaime Nespor, Regional President of SmartCEO Media. “This is why SmartCEO designed the Executive Management Awards. The 2014 Executive Management Award winners are not only leading their companies and co-workers to achieve great things but they are also making huge contributions to their communities. We are honored to recognize each of these individuals and celebrate their accomplishments.”
Haines has more than 20 years of financial services industry experience and is also an accredited author. He was previously recognized in Wall Street & Technology’s Gold Book (2010) and as “CIO of the Year,” by the New Jersey Technology Council. Haines earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware and holds a master’s degree in Information Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology.

About the Executive Management Awards
The Executive Management Awards honor C-suite executives who have gone above and beyond to support and lead their organizations. SmartCEO recognizes executives in four categories: CFO, CIO/CTO, COO and CXO (other C-suite executives) who uphold the highest ethics, lead collaboratively and creatively, and enhance and support the organization’s mission. An independent committee of local business leaders reviews the Executive Management Awards nominations, and winners are chosen based on the quality of the nominations submitted. Executive Management Award winners are profiled in the March/April issue of SmartCEO magazine and celebrated at an awards reception in March.
