Required Skills:

Investment Data Analyst

Description:
Reporting to the VP Strategic Products, the IDA will be responsible for day to day data management. Responsibilities include:

• Daily corporate actions research and processing, including tax consequences.
• Data vendor management.
• Daily review of brokerage client status reporting, and resolution of data processing issues.
• Participation in product development initiatives.
• Interface with brokerage clients on daily issue resolution, and ongoing projects.
• Interface with the NY office on data issues and initiatives.

The IDA is a newly created position in a division whose charter is to innovate, build, and launch new products into the brokerage market. This position will actively participate directly with the management team to support and enhance existing products, and build new products from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be innovative, aggressive, and able to operate in a complex start-up environment with minimal direction. This is a high-visibility position with substantial opportunity for growth.

• Bachelors in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting. MBA highly desirable.
• 3-5 years experience in brokerage or mutual fund operations or fund accounting.
• 2 years specific experience in corporate actions processing and cost basis.
• Business analysis experience highly desirable.

Java (Back End) Software Developer

Candidate will work on team of developers to support major brokerage clients.

Required Skills:

• Programmer with minimum 3-5 years experience with Java, Unix shell scripts and PL/SQL programming
• Candidate must demonstrate experience and proficiency with Weblogic, Oracle and UNIX.
• Must be able to analyze and troubleshoot existing code and make modifications to remedy issues.
• Must be able to review business/functional requirements, and provide detailed design specifications and estimates of work required.
• Ability to translate project design into code, working within an existing Java framework.
• Must meet tight deadlines and work on several projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to work within a team environment as well as work independently on projects.
• Excellent oral/written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Will consider other J2EE and SQL server experience for the right candidate.
• A background in financial/brokerage industry is a plus.

Project Manager / Business Analyst

Requirements:

QA Analyst

This QA Analyst position will work on multiple, concurrent projects testing complex website and enterprise applications. Responsibilities include creating test plans, reviewing requirements documents, developing and execution of test cases, comparing requirements to development, and reporting results and status to the various project teams. The QA Analyst should be a results-oriented team player, who is committed to delivering quality products and applications to the end-user. This is a fulltime salaried employee position.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience using QA processes to help ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
• Must have solid analytical and problem solving skills as well as have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have knowledge of QA processes, standards and procedures.
• Must have experience QA testing for web based projects as well as enterprise applications.
• Must have experience in Mercury Quick Test Pro.
• Experience testing multi-tier network applications (database/application logic/presentation).
• Must have the following testing experience: standard functionality, regression, system, integration, and ad-hoc along with good debugging skills.
• Should be able to manage and create test plans for multiple, concurrent projects.
• Must be able to closely interface with business units as well as development teams.
• Should be comfortable working in an agile development environment.
• Must be able to work and stay focused in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be able to work well individually as well as with a team.
• Must be verse in Microsoft Windows OS Systems, and MS Office Applications.
• Must have knowledge of Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers, others are a plus.
